Frequently asked
How do I save a video from Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube?
Open the video in the platform's app. Tap the share button. Select Classified from the share sheet. Toggle Save video to device on. Tap Save. The video downloads to your device.
The share extension isn't showing Classified
Open any share sheet in iOS. Scroll to the end of the apps list. Tap More. Toggle Classified on. It should now appear in your share sheet.
What happens if the original video gets deleted?
If you saved the video locally via the Save video to device toggle or the Save video button in the app, the video stays on your device indefinitely. It won't disappear.
Can I recover a deleted case?
No. Classified does not have a trash or undo feature. Deleted cases, arguments, and sources are gone permanently. We recommend only deleting items you're certain you don't need.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Classified → Cancel Subscription. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Why isn't a specific video downloading?
Platforms like Instagram and TikTok change their systems frequently. Sometimes a specific video is behind a login wall, age-restricted, region-locked, or has just been removed. Try again later, or use the Open in browser option to view the original.
Is my data synced across devices?
No. Classified stores everything locally on your device. Your cases are not synced across iPhones or iPads. This is a deliberate choice for privacy.
Where are my downloaded videos stored?
Videos are stored in the app's private storage. They are included in your iPhone's iCloud Backup if you have that enabled. They do not appear in your Photos app.
